There are a variety of reasons why you might want to consider grinding your tree stumps, rather than removing them entirely. For one, stump grinding is often more cost-effective than stump removal. It’s also less disruptive to your landscaping and can be done in a way that doesn’t damage the surrounding root systems.

Another reason to grind stumps is that it’s often the best way to prevent regrowth. If you simply remove a stump, there’s a good chance that new shoots will sprout up in its place. Grinding the stump down to below ground level makes it much less likely that new growth will occur.

Finally, grinding stumps can also be a safer option than removal. Stump removal can be dangerous if not done properly, but stump grinding is usually a fairly straightforward process.
